Join us for a beachcombing adventure in Yachats, Oregon, where we’ll be searching the shoreline for agates and jaspers during the morning low tide. This is a beginner-friendly trip perfect for rockhounds of all experience levels.

Lowest tide: -1.25 feet at 7:40a
Weather:  High of 59
Meeting at Powellhurst Baptist Church at 4:30am

Drive time to below coordinates is approximately 3 hours from the church.  We'll spend a few hours at the beach then break for lunch.  People can head home at their leisure.

What we're looking for:  Agates and Jaspers

Difficulty: Beginner

Items to bring: Hat, water, snacks, lunch, container for rocks i.e. bucket or bag, sunglasses, raincoat/jacket.
